The product story
Not a single tool. A clinical loop.
The value is the connected context: profile, goals, materials, games, trials, audio, reports, and carryover inform one another so each session starts with less reconstruction.
Child profile
Lightweight child context, goals, supports, and communication notes.
Session plan
Carryover, focus areas, materials, and activities in one place.
Practice
Games and materials capture clinically useful trials while the child stays engaged.
Evidence
Trials, notes, audio review, and voice labels stay attached to the session.
Draft + carryover
Editable documentation support and next-session direction from real evidence.

Built around SLP work
Every feature has a place in the session.
Materials are not isolated downloads. Games are not isolated entertainment. Drafts are not detached from evidence. SLP Nova is designed so each piece feeds the next one.
Privacy-first intake
Child records can start with display names and optional clinical context.
Consent-aware audio
Recording is assistive, private, and designed around retention limits.
SLP stays in control
Drafts support clinical work; they do not replace judgment or final wording.
Before session
Plan the visit with context
Start from the child profile, prior carryover, goals, and suggested materials instead of rebuilding the plan from scattered notes.
Lightweight child profiles
Goal-aware material suggestions
Session agenda and next steps
During session
Run activities that keep data
Use interactive practice without losing the clinical thread. Activities and materials are tied back to goals and session trials.
Goal-linked games
Material usage tracking
Target, score, prompt level, and notes
After session
Close out with evidence
Turn structured activity, audio context, and clinical notes into an editable draft that the SLP owns.
Audio note support
Clinician-reviewed drafts
Caregiver talking points and next steps
Evidence to documentation
Less reconstruction after the session.
The platform keeps the clinical thread visible: what was planned, what happened, what evidence was captured, what still needs review, and what should continue next.

Next steps stay visible.

FAQ
Clear boundaries for clinical work.
Is SLP Nova a game app or a report writer?
Neither by itself. The product is a connected SLP workflow: child profile, planning, materials, goal-linked activities, trials, audio context, clinician-owned drafts, and carryover.
Who is it for right now?
SLP Nova is focused on pediatric SLPs, independent clinicians, and small private-practice workflows. It is not positioned as a full enterprise clinic system yet.
Does the software make clinical decisions?
No. Audio notes and drafting are assistive. The clinician reviews voices, edits the draft, and remains responsible for clinical interpretation.
Do I need to enter sensitive child data to start?
No. A display name, optional birth year, goals, and clinical context are enough to start the workflow.
How much setup does it take before a session?
SLP Nova is designed to start lightweight: add a child profile, choose goals or carryover, attach materials, and run the session. The value should come from connected context over time, not from a long setup process on day one.
